In the wee hours of Saturday morning, Nick Cannon posted his congratulations to his ex-wife, Mariah Carey after it was announced that she was engaged to her billionaire boyfriend, James Packer.
Cannon posted on his Instagram, ““Ha! This made me laugh out loud for real!!! HILARIOUS! #AllLove,” the 35-year-old captioned a meme of himself lying unconscious in a hospital bed, supposedly of a broken heart. “Congrats to @MariahCarey and James! May God Bless Your Future Union… #GreatPeople #GreatCouple.”
In the image, comedian and fellow actor, Kevin Hart, is leaning over Cannon with the caption, “its only a ring Nick” superimposed over their heads. The ring that now sits on Carey’s finger is a 35-carat center stone with two tapered baguettes on either side of it, finished in a platinum setting. The ring, designed by Wilfredo Rosado, is one of the biggest in world. It surpasses Elizabeth Taylor’s ring, outshines Jennifer Aniston, who wears a 10-carat ring, Kim Kardashian who rocks a 15-carat stunner, and Beyonce who flaunts an 18-carat diamond.
