Nick Cannon has developed a reputation for being a jack of all trades but last week he reminded everyone of his place in hip hop.
Cannon issued a call for a rap battle via Twitter with the only requirement being $100,000 ante to enter. He is proposing the battle be held at the BET Experience in Los Angeles on June 25.
In its proposed form, the battle will to be three sets of two-minute rounds. Cannon has committed his Wild’n Out cast members Conceited, Hitman Holla, Charlie Clips, Timothy De La Ghetto and DC Young Fly to the battle with him.
Confident, Cannon says that when he wins the money will be donated to a children’s hospital.
He personally called out rappers like Tyga and Soulja Boy with no response. But also retweeted mentions of rappers including Riff Raff, Snoop Dogg, Joey Badass, Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne, Eminem and Kanye West among many more.
Cannon has faced many of the big-named rappers being suggested on Wild’n out during the ‘Wild Style’ portion of his show. While there has been interest expressed by an array of rappers, there are currently no confirmed participants.
