On Wednesday it was revealed that America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon, 31, was hospitalized for mild kidney failure while he and wife Mariah Carey, 41, were vacationing in Aspen, Colorado with their 8-month-old twins, Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Scott Cannon.
Carey confirmed the news on Twitter Wednesday, and is continuing to keep people updated on Cannon's condition, which is stable. "As always, he's in good spirits considering the situation," she told People. She admitted, however, that "the situation is not easy" and that, despite Cannon's stable condition, he is still "in a lot of pain."
Cannon himself has been tweeting a bit about the incident, revealing Wednesday evening that he was "being transferred to a hospital in LA." He also extended gratitude to his fans. "Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern. You know me… I will be a'ight," he assured.
Carey echoed her husband's sentiments: "We really appreciate everybody's love and support," she told the magazine.
