Former Teen Mom 2 cast member Kieffer Delp has been arrested on charges of running a meth lab out of his basement in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania.

FORMER TEEN MOM 2 CAST MEMBER KIEFFER DELP ARRESTED

Delp, 28, appeared regularly on the MTV series for the first four seasons as the boyfriend of Jenelle Evans. He is now facing felony charges for operating a methamphetamine lab, manufacturing the drug, possession with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of substances used to make methamphetamine.

Though a woman was inside the house at the time of the bust, police believe that Delp owned and operated the lab on his own. Found inside were lithium, lighter fluid, propane, empty pseudo-ephedrine packaging, ammonium nitrate, glass popes, tourniquets, cooking tins, and hypodermic needles, according to an affidavit.

Residents of the McKees Rocks apartment building where Delp lives were asked to evacuate the premises while the police converged on the apartment. The volunteer fire department was also on hand to deal with any explosions that could have occurred, though none did.

“We had been getting complaints that there was a meth lab at this location, and we conducted an investigation and determined that there was in fact one, and subsequently executed a search warrant on that residence,” Police Chief Rick Deliman told the Tribune Review. “It’s not something we see every day or come across on a regular basis.”

Delp was unable to post his $50,000 bail, and is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail. His first preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 23. Delp has been arrested on drug charges multiple times in the past, including once in 2010 when he and Evans were charged with breaking and entering and drug possession. In 2011, Delp was arrested for possession of cocaine and again months later for a slew of drug charges. In the same year, he was charged with assault for punching a woman and her male friend in the face.
