The Night King and White Walkers marched through London on Tuesday in an effort to promote the upcoming season of Game of Thrones.
GoT season 7 premieres Sunday, July 17 at 9 pm, and HBO is gearing up for the release. A gang of terrifying White Walkers descended on central London. The actors crossed the Tower Bridge as well as Buckingham Palace.
The stunt was of course to show that, after six seasons of the show, the White Walkers will be the ultimate enemy that all the Houses will be up against. “This season everyone needs to join forces and fight the White Walkers, because if they don’t… everyone’s getting it,” said The Hound Rory McCann. “They are sworn enemies from the first day of time, the Three-Eyed Raven, and the Night King,” chimed in Bran Stark Isaac Hempstead-Wright.
The penultimate series will consist of just seven episodes, and fans are dying to find out what will happen now that winter is finally coming. “I have no doubt there’ll be prequels and sequels and who knows what else,” actress Emelia Clarke said recently. “But I am doing one more season. And then that’ll be it.”
