Megan Fox has finally brought to light more details about her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, specifically the blood-drinking part you were surely the most curious about. When the couple first announced their engagement in January, Fox posted a video of the proposal on Instagram. In her caption, she wrote, “I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood.”

Fox was speaking with Glamour UK in a lengthy interview about her experience with fame, objectification, and returning to the limelight after time away. She spoke about going through a psychological breakdown from “being dehumanized and criticized and judged constantly.” She also reflected on her early career by saying, “The regret I have is that my personality is so lost on people, my sense of humor is lost. My intelligence is not acknowledged.”

The conversation then moved on to her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, whom she met in early 2020 while filming Midnight In The Switchgrass. According to Fox, they went to Bora Bora to swim with sharks on just their second date, and have tattooed each other.

When asked about her blood-drinking post, Fox confirmed “Yeah. So I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game Of Thrones,” she said with a laugh. “It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.”

Fox then mentioned that she performs rituals because she is active in practicing “metaphysical practices and meditations.” She explained “I do rituals on new moons and full moons,” and described the process as very “controlled.” She noted her fiancé is “much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic, where he’s willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like ‘Take my soul.'” When asked what exactly that means, Fox said, “It doesn’t not happen. Let me tell you. Maybe not exactly like that, but a version of that has happened many times.”

The actress also reflected on when she was first going to meet MGK in prep for Midnight In The Switchgrass. “I was at the table read, there was still one character who hadn’t been cast.” When Fox learned who would be taking the role, she said she looked him up and immediately realized, “Oh, I’m going to be in so much trouble…”
