Kanye West Releases Claymation Video Where He Kidnaps & Buries Pete Davidson

Kanye West released a disturbing new video for his song “Eazy” with The Game Wednesday night which features him abducting a lookalike of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian‘s current boyfriend, Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson.

In the video, there are scenes of a claymation figure that resembles West wearing a leather masked outfit he’s been seen wearing frequently recently, kidnapping and burying what looks like a caricature of Davidson. The scenes in question occur after The Game delivers his verse and West’s character appears. Davidson’s character is first seen smoking and drinking but is whisked off-screen with a bag over his head.

West’s character is shown driving the tied-up Davidson, between what appear to be shots of West, or a masked lookalike, in live-action. He’s shown standing in a dark room holding a model of a severed head. Back in the claymation scene, West buries Davidson up to his neck and sprinkles rose seeds over him. West then waters the plants and rides away in a motorcycle as Davidson’s head has roses bursting out of it.

The last claymation shots of the video also contain a disturbing parallel to a real-life stunt West pulled for Kardashian on Valentine’s day of this year. The scene shows West returning to Davidson, and trimming the roses that have grown from his head away. It then cuts to West driving a pickup truck full of roses, which is rather similar to the truck full of roses he had sent to Kardashian’s home. This may be a coincidence but is extremely concerning if intentional.

This video at the very best is an example of shameless self-promotion in the face of a divorce that should have been private from the start, and at the worst, some moments in the video could be legitimate cause for concern for Davidson and Kardashian’s safety.

Some fans have downplayed the video and his recent behavior, but many who have been in toxic relationships understand this as bordering on harassment or worse if West is allowed to continue. The only reason it isn’t labeled as such is because of his powerful position in the music industry.
