Singer Emeli Sandé won the award for best British Female Solo Artist over Anohni, Ellie Goulding, Lianne La Havas and Nao at the 2017 BRIT Awards Wednesday night.
Sandé, 29, earned her fourth BRIT award for her album Long Live The Angels. The lead single from the album is “Hurts,” and she also co-wrote many other songs on this new album. She worked with friends Naughty Boy and Mike Spencer on the album. She accepted her award with her sister on stage.
It is her fist album in four years since her last, Our Version of Events.
She will be performing in Europe from March to October on her Long Live The Angels Tour.
