Craig David Posts Photos After His BRIT Award Win

Craig David posted a photo of himself attending the BRIT Awards on his Instagram account Wednesday night. He returned 16 years after his first nomination ofr British Male Solo Artist for his album Born To Do It in 2001.

He’s had a few dark years that’s why on the sixth album Following My Intuition there are two and a half pages of ‘thank yous.’ In the caption that accompanies the photo, he explains what is beautiful to him. His song “When The Bassline Drops” is his highest single chart in nine years.

The singer has been nominated more than 40 times in his career and has won 12 awards.
Last night at the BRIT Awards, he was facing off against David Bowie, Kano, Michael Kiwanuka and Skepta. David said that Bowie deserved the award and that it was already a great honor to be nominated alongside him.
