Britney Spears Bashes Mom Lynne Over Conservatorship: ‘She Secretly Ruined My Life!’

Britney Spears wrote a lengthy Instagram post against her mother Lynne Spears, claiming “she secretly ruined my life.”

The post contradicts what Lynne Spears’ attorneys claimed in a recent court filing. The attorneys claim Lynne played a big role in ending her daughter’s conservatorship.

Attorneys for Lynne Spears filed court documents Monday with the Los Angeles County Superior Court to petition Britney’s estate for over $600,000 to help cover Lynne’s legal expenses.

The filing suggests that Lynne Spears deserves partial credit for the removal of Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, as conservator.

“Lynne and her counsel submit that they have contributed to and achieved Lynne’s mission of breaking the restrictions imposed by the conservatorship, removing Jamie as conservator and have pushed toward the goal of ultimately terminating the entire conservatorship,” Lynne’s lawyers wrote in the petition.

The court documents also state that Britney “enthusiastically agrees’ to Lynne’s assistance and that her mother’s efforts allowed her to have greater freedoms, including vacations.

Outraged, Britney went on Instagram to blast the claims and told her following that her mother played a pivotal part in the conservatorship continuing for so long.

“My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago, but what people don’t know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea,” she wrote in her caption, which is now deleted.

The pop star added, “So take your whole ‘I have NO IDEA what’s going on’ attitude and go f–k yourself.”

Her post comes after her father filed to “immediately terminate” the conservatorship earlier this week. The process to end it initially began this past October. It has been put in place since 2009.

Multiple documentaries have been released that take a closer look at the conservatorship and what Britney’s life has been like with it in place. The newest documentary Britney v. Spears was released on Netflix on September 28.

For Halloween, Spears mysteriously dressed up as a murder victim.
