Amanda Bynes Found Naked & Alone On L.A. Streets After ‘Psychotic Episode’

Earlier this week, former actress Amanda Bynes, 36, fully naked and alone, flagged down a car and told the driver she was “coming down from a psychotic episode” and called 911.

Once at the police station, a mental health team placed her on an involuntary 72-hour hold where she will be fully assessed for her mental health.

This episode comes nearly exactly a year after the end of Bynes’ eight-year conservatorship with her parents, who had supported the decision at the time.

In July 2013, after several mishaps with the law, including DUIs and possession charges, Bynes’ mother was granted a temporary conservatorship. This temporary conservatorship was extended to August 2020 after Bynes was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2014.

Early March 2023, Bynes was scheduled to appear at an All That panel, which had launched her career, at 90s Con, but canceled shortly before the trip.
