New Trailer For ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ Gives Extended Look At Lex Luthor & Wonder Woman

A second full-length trailer for the eagerly-awaited Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has been released and gives us our best look yet at what to expect from the superhero face-off extravaganza.

“What’s your position on the bat vigilante in Gotham,” Henry Cavill‘s squeaky clean Clark Kent asks Ben Affleck‘s rugged Bruce Wayne, who smirks cheekily, immediately establishing the two’s heat-butting dynamic. The extended trailer gives us plenty of Batman V. Superman action, though doesn’t reveal what conceit is has established that allows the decidedly human bat to go blow for blow with the god-like alien.

The trailer also gives us our first proper look at Jesse Eisenberg‘s (not bald) Lex Luthor and the actor seems to have the character’s smarmy, larger-than-life charm down to a tee.

Luthor’s big bad plan is also revealed and it  involves resurrecting Man Of Steel villain, General Zod (Michael Shannon), as an abominable monster that is sure to give both our heroes some trouble.

We also get a good look at Gal Gadot‘s Wonder Woman, who appears to come to the aid of our favorite bat hero in the nick of time, just before the Zod-monster blows him to smithereens.

The film also features returning cast member Amy Adams as Lois Lane, as well as Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Holly Hunter.

Directed by Man Of Steel alum Zack Snyder, the film is set for a March 25 release date.
