New Tindog App Is A Tinder For Dogs

A new dating app called Tindog, was released in May and has become a popular way to meet dogs and their owners in your area.

The Tindog app, available for iOS and Android, works almost like the human dating app Tinder, except the focus is on the dogs and dog owners. Since the app’s introduction, over 100,000 users have signed up to go dog hunting.

To sign up for a profile on Tindog, you input your dog’s age, gender and breed, along with a photo of your furry pet. Some owners may also include photos of themselves in the profile. You then swipe left to ignore and right to “like” other profiles. Once you find a match, you can chat, share photos and schedule doggie “dates.”

Davison, the host and producer of YouTube comedy channel LOLPervs talked about how she uses the Tindog app in an interview on Tuesday.

Davison uses Tindog, but hilariously revealed that she doesn’t own a dog herself. “I cheated — I actually used my bunny and I used my friend’s dog,” the comedian admitted to HuffPost.

“It really is fun to use…It matches your dog but it matches you too,” Davison noted. “The majority of the people who matched with me were men,” she joked.

Davison also uploaded a funny review of the Tindog app to her channel last month. “She wants the d! As in she wants the — dog,” Davison says in the video. The comedian goes on to gush about the matching dog app and how adorable it is for dog owners.
