New surveillance camera footage showed the exact moment Lady Gaga’s dog walker was attacked and her dogs were stolen. The dog walker was on Sierra Bonita Avenue in Hollywood on Wednesday night when a light colored car drove up next to the dog walker.

Two people exited the vehicle and the dog walker can be heard yelling “no” as the attackers and the dog walker struggle. The attackers shot the dog walker and took the dogs before fleeing the scene.

According to LAPD Officer Mike Lopez, the footage is a new piece of evidence the LAPD is using to find the attackers.

“We heard blood-curdling screaming. And then within about a minute, a shot rang out,” a neighbor Rachel Mason told CNN. “We just ducked for cover, ran inside and called 911.”

Mason said her neighbor helped save the victim’s life.

“We came back out and the guy was literally bleeding out as the cops and the paramedics were coming, and our neighbor was compressing his chest,” Mason said. “I didn’t know if he was alive or dead and he gets put on the stretcher and put in the ambulance.”

She added that at the time, she didn’t know the victim was Lady Gaga’s dog walker or that the dogs had been stolen.

According to Lopez, the dogs are still missing and the victim is in critical condition.

“We are hoping for an act of kindness so we can get the dogs back,” Lady Gaga’s father, Joe Germanotta told CNN in a phone call. “We are upset about [the dog walker]. It’s very appalling that someone would shoot somebody to steal some dogs. Hopefully, they’ll be caught so we can get the dogs back safely.”

Germanotta said the dog walker is a close friend of his daughter’s.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing, but they described the attackers as men aged 20-25.

Lady Gaga is offering a $500,000 reward for the return of her dogs, “no questions asked.”
