The New Order and Pet Shop Boys North American Unity Tour has been postponed to 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic.


“Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you in 2021,” New Order said in a statement on their website. Tickets for the original shows are still valid for the rescheduled dates, though refunds are available. Instead of starting this September, the tour is set to kick off next September.

Although the English pop bands have been around since the 80s, they are still active in the music scene. Pet Shop Boys released their 14th album this year, I don’t wanna, with the BBC calling them “still the cleverest men in pop.” Last year, New Order released a live album from Manchester International Festival, ∑(No,12k,Lg,17Mif) New Order + Liam Gillick: So it goes...

Recently, New Order has started a merch campaign where all of the proceeds go towards their tour crew who have been out of work because of the coronavirus.
