A new international trailer for Captain America: Civil War has been released and while it doesn’t offer any major new footage from the eagerly-awaited blockbuster, it does give some new perspectives on action packed set pieces.
Of particular note is a moment in which Captain America (Chris Evans) leads a pack that includes Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Bucky (Sebastian Stan), Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), moving in dramatic slo-mo, presumably heading into battle.
The superhero sequel bears Captain America’s name but it’s clear it’s shaping up to be more of an Avengers follow-up. The film will see a rift of epic proportions develop between Cap and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jnr.) over government plans to place restrictions on the Avengers activity.
As well as those listed above, Civil War will also feature Scarlett Johansson, returning as Black Widow and new additions Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther and Tom Holland as Spider-Man.
Captain America: Civil War is due out May 6, 2016.
