The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is getting a makeover this year.
Charlie Brown will be among the balloons that will be given a fresh new look. Another that will see improvements is Felix the Cat, which debuted in 1927. The new float will appear exactly as it did at its creation.
Dreamworks’ Trolls and Diary of a Wimpy Kid will also be getting floats in 2016.
This weekend all the new balloons will be tested to make sure there will be no errors on the official parade trip. The Macy’s parade will be celebrating its 90th year this year.
The parade will start at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 24 on NBC.
Remind yourself of the excitement last year and see some of the 2015 floats blown up.
