The couple announced their engagement in June 2024 after dating since 2022. Wilson proposed during a trip to Italy, and both have shared their excitement about their future on social media. ​

Wilson, formerly of the New York Jets and Denver Broncos, recently signed a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins. The deal is worth $6 million, with potential incentives increasing it to $10 million. He will be the third-string backup quarterback behind Bo Nix and Jason Stidham.
