Thought Royal Wedding fever is over? Think again. Thanks to famed photographer Mario Testino, a never-before-seen portrait of Prince William and Kate Middleton graces the cover of the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. We learn that William and Kate were “so excited” to watch the wedding coverage on TV, and that they went back to work immediately after, as to draw attention away from their honeymoon.

Testino, a friend of the late Princess Diana and the man behind one of her most iconic images, also took the famous couple’s official engagement photos last November. “I guess it was a way for them to keep William’s mother in the whole process of it,” he said last week at a gala in his honor.

Kate’s dad, Michael Middleton, reflects on the moment he knew that his daughter’s relationship with William were heating up. “I knew things were getting serious when I found a helicopter in my garden,” he told the magazine. “I thought, Gosh, he must like my daughter. I did wonder then how William was going to top this if they ever got engaged.”
