New ‘Cats’ Trailer Becomes Hilarious Internet Meme [VIDEO]
A trailer for the new movie Cats was released Thursday and many people went to Twitter to share their thoughts on the new clip.
The trailer shows cats but with human bodies. The live-action adaption of the Andrew Lloyd-Webber musical starred Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, James Corden, Jason Derulo, Judi Dench, Rebel Wilson and the Royal Ballet’s Francesca Hayward.
Director Tom Hooper created the film with the use of “digital fur technology” to create “the most perfect covering of fur.”
The specifics of the human/cat hybrid shocked people with the addition of breasts, for instance, or where the tails were protruding from.
“I love the CATS trailer because I WANT to be horrified. I WANT to feel!!!,” said one user.
