Chris Rock hosts the 88th Academy Awards
Netflix has released a new clip of Chris Rock’s first stand-up series in 10 years, Chris Rock: Tamborine.
In the clip, Rock explains how George Bush was the reason Barack Obama came to office. He says, “Bush was so bad, he gave us Obama. Bush was so bad people said, ‘Hey maybe this black guy has the answers.’”

Rock takes his joke further.“George Bush is a black revolutionary,” he says. “In the lineup of black revolutionaries he’s right underneath Rosa Parks, “Malcom X, Rosa Parks, George Bush.”
His next line takes a hit at President Donald Trump. Rock says, “Bush was so bad, he gave us Obama. Trump’s so bad he gonna give us Jesus. ‘Jesus, what you doin’ here?'” In a hilarious imitation of Jesus. he responds to himself saying, “You seen Trump? That s—t is serious.”
