Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events Trailer
Netflix is creating a new series based on Lemony Snicket’s (aka Daniel Handler) book series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and the first trailer has just landed.
The trailer sees Patrick Warburton as Snicket talking directly to the camera, telling the viewer to beware the new Netflix show, just as Handler always warned readers not to read his stories. Handler will also executive-produce the show.
The series follows the lives of the Baudelaire orphans. “Under ordinary circumstances, this room would be buzzing with excitement and activities,” Snicket warns as he walks through the dimly lit set. “But the story of the Baudelaire orphans is so upsetting and so utterly unnerving, the entire crew is suffering from low morale.”
“So please don’t make the same mistake Netflix has and look away,” Snicket says as the trailer ends.
A Series of Unfortunate Events will premiere on the streaming service on Jan. 13, 2017.
