NeNe Leakes Laughs At Rumors Saying She’s Been Fired From ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’

NeNe Leakes took to Instagram and Twitter to laugh at the circulating rumors saying she was fired from the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) reality show. On Wednesday, an online report claimed that Leakes did not receive an offer from Bravo to appear on the show’s 13 season, while the other cast members were all emailed offers. Another blog reported Leakes did in fact receive an offer, leaving fans quite confused.

“I can’t chileeeeeeee,” Leakes captioned the photo of herself laughing she posted on Instagram, Wednesday. The star then tweeted six crying-laughing emojis on her Twitter account.

Leakes’s manager Steven Grossman also addressed the rumors in a statement. “It is absolutely not true that NeNe has been fired from RHOA. Furthermore, it was made abundantly clear prior that she will always be welcome on the series as long as she wants to be. We are having ongoing bigger picture conversations with NBCUniversal and have not made any decisions regarding next season specifically. Any speculation or sources trying to create controversy by stating otherwise are incredibly inaccurate. Bloop.”

Leakes has starred in every season of the show except for season nine.

Bravo has yet to officially announced which women will star in season 13 of the show, however, Eva Marcille confirmed on Tuesday that she will not be returning.
