Doogie Howser is a dad. How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka announced the birth of a twin boy and girl last week via Twitter.
"Babies!! On 10/12, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace entered the Burtka-Harris fold. All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey," Harris tweeted. Harris, 37, and celebrity chef Burtka, 35, told the world about their baby plans using a surrogate back in August. "We're super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy," he said at the time.
The actor, who recently took home an Emmy for guest-starring on Glee, seems excited about the new arrangement. "Youngsters. They cry a lot. I thought it was just a long bit that they were doing," he tweeted. "I keep saying, 'Annnnd, scene!'… but nothing happens." –AMY LEE
