Naya Rivera, best known for playing Santana Lopez on Glee, stars in a photoshoot for Yahoo! Style that shows off her growing baby bump.

Naya Rivera’s Pregnancy Photoshoot

Rivera took to Instagram Tuesday to direct her fans and followers to her new photoshoot and interview with Yahoo! in which she talks about her pregnancy with her first child with husband Ryan Dorsey.

“Check out my pregnancy shoot with @yahoo!” Rivera captioned a shot from the shoot. “I love that I have been able to share this special journey with you.”

Rivera’s hairstylist Clyde Haygood posted an image from the shoot on Instagram in which Rivera is posing completely nude, save for a mink wrap.

“It’s such a change physically, mentally and in terms of lifestyle, that I definitely didn’t know what to expect going into it,” Rivera told Yahoo! about her pregnancy. “I have friends who are moms, and you hear stories and stuff, but it’s never the same until you actually experience it yourself.”

Incidentally, Rivera’s Yahoo! spread came out the same day that Kim Kardashian shared a picture of her own nude pregnancy body following criticism and speculation about her size.

“First they say I’m too skinny so I have to be faking it…Now they say I’m too big so I have to be faking it…SMH!” Kardashian wrote. “Some days I’m photographed before I eat & look smaller, some days I’ve just eaten & I look bigger. It’s all a part of the process. I think you all know me well enough to know I would document the process if I got a surrogate. Everyone’s body is different, every pregnancy is very different! I’ve learned to love my body at every stage! I’m going to get even bigger & that’s beautiful too!”

Upon learning of the comparisons and taking some heat for stealing some of Kardashian’s spotlight, Rivera explained on Twitter that she had no control over when Yahoo! decided to release her pictures and quotes.

Rivera is currently in her third trimester with the due date of her first child fast approaching. Kardashian and her husband Kanye West expect to welcome their second child and first son at the end of this year.
