Nate Berkus wedded his partner Jeremiah Brent at the New York Public Library on Saturday.
Berkus, who hosts American Dream Builders, and TV personality Jeremiah Brent’s nuptials were confirmed by their reps to People magazine. Their marriage marks the first time a same-sex couple wedded at the New York City landmark.
Berkus, 42, and Brent, 29, tied the knot in front of more than 220 guests. In addition to the pair’s family members, those in attendance at the lavish affair included Oprah Winfrey, Rachel Ray, Rebecca Minkoff and Busy Phillipps. The ceremony was officiated by OWN president Sheri Salata.
To tie the knot to Brent, Berkus wore a J. Crew suit. Brent wore one by Saint Laurent. The grooms exchanged identical Van Vleef & Arpels gold bands.
Berkus and Brent became engaged last April while vacationing in Peru after one year of dating. Berkus previously dated photographer Fernando Bengoechea, who died in 2004 in the Indian Ocean tsunami while the two were on vacation.
