Natasha Poonawalla made a notable entrance at the 2022 Met Gala with her 3D golden gown. Made by Anaita Shroff Adajania, Poonawalla wore a luxurious all-gold ensemble, which included a metallic corset with wires that artfully spun over her head in a halo. The executive director of Serum Institute of India, which creates much-needed vaccines, accessorized the whole getup by adding striking jewelry, such as a chunky gemstone headband, heavy ornate earrings and clusters of decorative bangles. The jewelry came directly from Sabyasachi Fine Jewelry and limited-edition collectibles from Sabyasachi’s Curiosity Art & Antiquity Project. Poonawalla is known to wear extravagant couture fashion, and she proved how elevated she can take it at this year’s Met Gala.
