Natalie Portman Thanks Benjamin Millepied

A very pregnant Natalie Portman, 29, accepted the Academy Award for Best Actress Sunday night. The Black Swan star gave a tearful and heartfelt speech, thanking longtime mentor Mike Nichols, Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky and her family, before saving the best for last, by thanking her “beautiful love” fiancé Benjamin Millepied, who she credited with giving her the "most important role of [her] life.” The couple is expecting their first child this summer. —EMILY EXTON
