Naomi Campbell Involved In Violent Incident With Driver

Supermodel and mischief-maker Naomi Campbell is once again at the center of controversy following an altercation with her driver on Tuesday.

According to reports, Campbell allegedly pummeled chauffeur Miodrag Mejdina as he steered her Cadillac Escalade across Manhattan and then ran off, disappearing into the multitudes on Second Avenue. Her rage reportedly stemmed from Mejdina’s refusal to provide information about her millionaire beau Vlad Doronin. The attack was forceful enough to propel Mejdina’s head onto the steering wheel and resulted in a bruise under his left eye.

Mejdina spent much of Tuesday night filing a complaint against Campbell at a Manhattan station house, although the media avalanche brought on by the event provoked him to request the case be closed. An NYPD spokesman later downplayed the likelihood of a criminal charge against the British model. However, the absence of criminal charges does not bar the possibility of a civil suit. –AHMED MORI
