Naomi Campbell was previously seen wearing a hazmat suit in March as boarded a flight from Los Angeles to her home in New York. Now, she’s shared a new picture of the precautions she was taking in light of the coronavirus pandemic on Instagram.
The British supermodel has added a protective face shield to her kit.
In a video on her YouTube channel, she shared her reasoning.
“In all honesty, this is not a funny time. It’s not a humorous time. I’m not doing this for laughs,” she said. “This is how I feel comfortable traveling. If I have to travel. I’m trying to keep it at a minimum. If I do have to go, I’m going like this.”
Campbell is known for going the extra mile when it comes to health and safety precautions in flights. In 2019, posted pictures of her pre-flight sanitisation ritual of “anything that you could possibly touch” in a plane seat.
Campbell feels that all her actions are justified.
“Now, I’m not ridiculous,” she said in the footage. She hasn’t stopped air travel, despite it being one of the easiest places to be in contact of travelers and catch the virus.
