‘My Unorthodox Life’ Star Julia Haart Wins $75 Million Legal Victory Against Her Ex-Husband, Silvio Scaglia

On Tuesday, Julia Haart, star of the hit Netflix series My Unorthodox Life, was seen basking in the glow of a legal win in the bitter battle with ex-husband Silvio Scaglia.

Haart and Scaglia were wed in June 2019. While the two were married, they were co-owners of the business Elite World Group (EWG) – which represents the largest number of modeling agencies in the world – while Haart also worked as creative director of the luxury lingerie brand La Perla.

When Haart filed for divorce from Scaglia in 2022, he fired her from EWG. Haart believed that Scaglia had given her half of Freedom Holding (which owns EWG and their $65 million apartment) in return for her running the firm, but Scaglia claimed that she only owned a fraction of the company. He further alleged that Haart misappropriated millions of dollars from EWG, but failed to present any evidence to back this up in court.

Haart and Scaglia have gone to court for numerous lawsuits over the last three years.

Now a New York judge has awarded Haart control over the company, as well as her and Scaglia’s 16-room Tribeca apartment, and almost $10 million cash.

Haart told Page Six, “Words cannot fully express the immense joy and gratitude I feel in my heart.”

She continued, “Throughout this journey, I held steadfast to my belief in truth and justice, deeply trusting that if I stay the course, the truth would ultimately prevail and the wrongs done to me would be made right.”

“I am profoundly grateful to god for granting me the strength to persevere and to Judge Pearlman for holding Silvio accountable and ensuring that Justice was served,” she said.

Haart’s daughter, Batsheva, celebrated her mom’s win with a TikTok showing them sipping champagne and dancing to DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win.”

In October, Haart told uInterview exclusive about her battle with Scaglia.

“It was literal Alice in Wonderland where right is wrong and wrong is right,” she said. “They wanted me to keep doing what I was doing. Building equity. Working for free without a single dollar in salary, without an employment contract because I thought I owned half the company. It’s egregious what happened.”
