MrBeast Apologizes For Making Racial & Homophobic Slurs When He Was Younger

YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has issued an apology after controversial videos of the influencer have resurfaced.

A clip of MrBeast on a 2017 podcast was posted by Rosanna Pansino on X last week. MrBeast could be heard saying racial and homophobic slurs and suggesting he would have sex with rapper Bhad Babie, who was a minor at the time.

A spokesperson for the personalities put out a statement that MrBeast had “repeatedly apologized” for his comments over the years.

“When [MrBeast] was a teenager he acted like many kids and used inappropriate language while trying to be funny,” the statement said. “After making some bad jokes and other mistakes when he was younger, as an adult he has focused on engaging with the MrBeast community to work together on making a positive impact around the world.”

MrBeast is not the only member of his team with allegations against him. One of his former co-hosts, Ava Kris Tyson, was recently accused of grooming attempts, as she allegedly sent inappropriate messages to a minor eight years ago. She has since stepped down from her role and issued and apology.
