Known as the queen of teen angst for her roles in seminal 80s flicks like Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club, Molly Ringwald dishes out love advice in her new book Getting The Pretty Back. Now in her 40s and happily married, the Pretty in Pink star has come a long way from her John Hughes days, but not without some real-life drama.
The famously redheaded actress faced a career slump in the late 90s and a divorce with first husband, Valery Lameignere. Ringwald remarried in 2007 to Greek-American writer Panio Gianopoulos, and is now the mother of three young kids. Having learned a thing or two about men and break-ups, the actress offers feel-good tips on surviving relationships like not to wallow with (too much) wine and working on an exercise regimen. Getting The Pretty Back hits bookstores Tuesday.
