'Modern Family' Knocks Off '30 Rock' At The Emmys
ABC’s Modern Family put an end to 30 Rock’s three-year run as Best Comedy at the Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday night. Tina Fey‘s 30 Rock went home empty handed, only a year after taking home 6 Emmys. Top Chef finally beat the seven-year winner of outstanding reality competition, The Amazing Race. Mad Men took the statue for outstanding drama for the third year in a row, beating True Blood and Lost.
Jimmy Fallon (pictured) hosted the 62nd annual awards, singing uproariously funny songs about the stars and the shows. Kim Kardashian made her singing debut, George Clooney took home the humanitarian award, and January Jones received some hefty criticism on her dress (see Style section). –SAM VANDEVER
