Model Mikaela Lafuente criticized musician Kanye West for reportedly sending her “inappropriate” messages on Instagram, despite his marriage to Bianca Censori.

Lafuente shared screenshots of their private conversation and stated that it is “unacceptable” for West to have asked her to meet up, as she believes that infidelity in a relationship is an inexcusable act. Lafuente, 22, herself is in a relationship with TikTok star Bryce Hall.

Lafuente’s remarks come in the wake of recent legal actions taken against West by former Yeezy employees, who accused the artist fostered a toxic work environment and failed to pay wages. Lafuente expressed her surprise when she received a direct message from the 47-year-old West, with whom she had no prior interactions.

In the screenshots provided, West reached out to Lafuente in March shortly after he returned from a European trip with Censori. Lafuente stated that she initially doubted the authenticity of the messages, but ultimately confirmed that they were indeed from the Grammy-winning rapper.

“It was funny. Bryce and I were in Vegas and I was going through my Instagram DMs and I saw this. At first, I didn’t believe it and thought it was a fake account, but it wasn’t. The message was pretty odd as I had never spoken to him or seen him in person before,” Lafuente recounted.

The model expressed her strong disapproval of West’s actions with the assertation that it is “not acceptable” for a married individual to message other women. Lafuente further emphasized her belief in the importance of monogamy and her intolerance for cheating, which she described as “unacceptable behavior” from both partners in a relationship.

“It’s not acceptable and it’s something I’d stand behind forever,” Lafuente asserted.

The model further speculated on whether West had reached out to other women in a similar manner, and stated, “If he texts other girls, I know I said no, but others might not. I do not support it. Maybe [West and Censori] have an agreement and Bianca knows about it and is cool with it, but we will never know this.”

Hall had previously shared the screenshots of West’s messages on social media, accompanied by tongue-in-cheek captions. However, Lafuente stated that Hall had been amused by the situation rather than upset, as he is generally not prone to jealousy and appreciates the attention Lafuente receives.

Despite her criticism of West‘s actions, Lafuente admitted that she is not well-versed in the rapper’s music, and said that she “barely knew who he was and it was confusing.”
