Missing Man Taylour Young’s Body Found In His Own Car’s Trunk In Dallas

In a case that has befuddled investigators, the body of Taylour Young, a 25-year-old that has been missing since he was last seen in Houston on December 9, was found in the trunk of his own silver Honda Civic at a Dallas impound lot.

Young disappeared during his lunch break at work. He was last seen at a Capital One bank in Houston, where surveillance video from a nearby Kroger grocery store captured his car passing through the bank’s drive-thru ATM. His mother, Tiffany Robinson, told police she tracked Young by his phone and found it in the bushes by the bank.

After investigations were stalled for over a month, Young’s decomposing body was finally found in his vehicle hundreds of miles away in a South Dallas impound lot on January 31. According to Houston police, the car had been towed from a north Dallas shopping center on January 10.

Young’s best friend, Christian Gorgy, told local Houston station KHOU, “Taylour was a superhero to me. Really, I just thought he would come back and [it] would be a great story.” He also confirmed that Robinson saw her son’s remains and confirmed it was him.

Young was well-loved in his community according to Gorgy and Robinson. He graduated from Sam Houston State University and worked in accounting. According to a co-worker, Young would regularly visit the local Whole Foods to play bingo with senior citizens. He was also the father of a dog named Gigi.
