Miss Universe Olivia Culpo Denies Ryan Lochte Romance Rumors

Many were hoping that two of the nation's most attractive figureheads, five-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte, 28, and newly crowned Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, 20, had gotten cozy together, but now Culpo is revealing that the whispers are false.

"Rumors are rumors," she told Maria Menounos of Extra. "At the end of the day we're just friends, and I'm happy with that," Culpo said.

In fact, Culpo, who is from Rhode Island and attends college at Boston University, insists that she's not seeing anyone right now. After she was crowned Miss Universe last month, she revealed that her focus lay elsewhere. "I do want to finish my education," she said.

For the time being, the most important man in Culpo's life may be beauty pageant producer, business magnate and Apprentice star Donald Trump. "Mr. Trump is an amazing person … I think I have the best boss," she said.
