The New Year is just around the corner and many have a resolution that this will be the year they get in shape. For those interested in workout tips, several competitors of the Miss Universe pageant are offering up advice on what works for them to keep their bodies in competition shape.
Olivia Culpo, 20, the Rhode Island native and winner of the Miss Universe pageant, confessed that she and her cohorts don’t get a lot of time to work out in the gym, so she finds ways to work out in her hotel room. “I do a lot of squats and toe touches, standing crunches, sitting crunches, side crunches, flat, plank, pushups, situps and pullups,” she told E! Online. “There’s so much that you can do without any equipment."
Miss Honduras Jennifer Andrade also expressed interest in a workout that required little to no equipment. "Pilates has been really good for me," she says, "because I was working out with a personal trainer and I was starting to look like a body builder… so I started doing Pilates and it really helped me lean out."
Miss Australia Renae Ayris, 20, drinks plenty of water for her diet. “I try to drink a lot of water while I’m here,” she said. “Especially with this humidity.”
