Miranda Kerr, the ex-wife of actor Orlando Bloom, has weighed in on those naked paddleboarding pictures.
Kerr, who was married to Bloom for three years, got a heads up from him before the nude pictures hit the internet. Despite getting the warning, Kerr was still a bit incredulous and shocked by her ex-husband’s exhibitionism and told him so.
“Oh my god, he texted me and he was like, ‘Um, I’m really embarrassed. Some photos are coming out. Just thought I should let you know’,” Kerr told a radio station earlier this week. “And I was like, ‘Hmm… right, what were you thinking? Seriously, what were you thinking?’”
Bloom had stripped off his swim shorts for a paddleboard excursion while on vacation with his current girlfriend, singer Katy Perry, in Sardinia, Italy, earlier this month. The Lord of the Rings actor was completely nude save for a baseball hat and sunglasses rowing behind Perry.
Numerous censored pictures of Bloom paddling in the buff subsequently hit the internet. One particular image caused something of a stir due to the presence of a shadow that left little to the imagination.
Kerr and Bloom, who are parents to 5-year-old son Flynn Christopher Bloom, divorced in 2013.
