Miley Cyrus has ignited rumors that she is engaged to her former fiancee Liam Hemsworth with a new picture surfacing with a ring on her left hand.

Back in 2012, the couple became engaged officially after dating since 2009. But a year later, they called off their wedding plans and ultimately went their separate ways. Recently during the holiday season in 2015, the two were spotted together in Australia, and it seemed that the couple had renewed their romance during the visit. They were spotted being affectionate during a Golden Globes after party.

Cyrus was seen in New York City’s JFK Airport over the weekend with a possible engagement ring on her left ring finger. Today, Cyrus posted a picture of herself with the engagement ring in clear sight for all of her 34.8 million followers to see.

Hemsworth has talked about his relationship with Cyrus in the past, including a recent interview with Men’s Fitness. “You fall in love with who you fall in love with. You can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage,” he said. “We were together five (sic) years. So I don’t think those feelings will ever change. And that’s good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn’t just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be.”
