Miley Cyrus showed her fans that she supports her friend and collaborator Britney Spears during a Fourth of July concert in Las Vegas, she sang “Party in the U.S.A.” and yelled “Free Britney!” during her performance.
In the video, which was taken by a fan at the Resorts World casino, she is seen shouting “Free Britney” in the middle of her performance.
Cyrus has expressed her fondness towards Spears on several occasions. The two worked together on the 2013 album Bangerz, in which Spears sang in “SMS (Bangerz).”
Spears has been locked in a bitter battle with her father, Jamie Spears, over her conservatorship, which grants him total control over her finances. Spears said she had been “enslaved” by her father and was forced to use an IUD to prevent her from getting pregnant.
