Miley Cyrus, who performed with Elton John at the 2018 Grammys, stepped on the red carpet first with an all-black ensemble that was simple, yet classic.
After stating that she would never walk the red carpet again back in 2016, the singer made an exception for this year’s Grammys. She walked the red carpet wearing a black velvet Jean-Paul Gaultier jumpsuit. The jumpsuit was sleeveless but covered her shoulders with a matching military-inspired neckline.
Cyrus paired her jumpsuit with a matching pair of black platform sandals with silver sequined heels and a transparent strap. However, besides that she was tame with her accessories. She kept the look simple with only a couple diamond rings.
However, she was a part of the many celebrities who held a white rose in solidarity with the #MeToo movement. The singer was playful on the red carpet, sometimes sticking the long stem rose in her mouth.
The singer shared a few videos on her Instagram of herself with all the captions having the hashtag #B—hIsBack, in response to her stepping on the red carpet for the first time since she stated she was done with them.
