Miley Cyrus On Jimmy Kimmel: Singer Talks Nudity, Goes Undercover To Ask People What They Think Of Her
Miley Cyrus had an eventful appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night, shocking the host with her adventurous outfit and hitting the streets to see what people really think of her.
Miley Cyrus On Jimmy Kimmel
For her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, Cyrus wore a multi-colored mirrored cape and pants set. Underneath the cape, all the singer was wearing were heart-shaped nipple pasties. Jimmy Kimmel, taken aback by the ensemble, didn’t know where to look.
“You are almost naked. Where do you get an outfit like this?” Kimmel asked, adding, “Oh, my God! I am embarrassed! Now I can’t help but…I’m gonna… I’m still a little bit flustered by your outfit.”
Cyrus suggested that Kimmel focus on her eyebrows.
When Kimmel asked Cyrus how her father Billy Ray Cyrus felt about her more risqué looks, the former Hannah Montana star said that he’s just happy that she’s a good person.
“My dad’s cool because I’m sure he’d maybe rather not have me have my tits out all the time, but he’d rather me have my tits out and be a good person than have a shirt on and be a b—h,” Cyrus explained. “I see a lot of people with their clothes on, and they’re kind of a–holes. I don’t know if it’s the clothes that turn you into an a–hole. When you’ve got your tits out, you can’t really be an a–hole. It’s like, people are already judging you.”
To test just how harshly people judge Cyrus, Kimmel sent her out on Hollywood Boulevard incognito as an Australian reporter named Janet. Clad in a gray skirt suit and sporting a wig and glasses, Cyrus asked unsuspecting passerby what they thought of Miley Cyrus.
The reactions, as could be expected, were not all that positive. One father didn’t have any hard feelings against Cyrus but said, “I just like Taylor Swift better.” A woman, who remembered the more docile Miley from her Disney days, said, “I think she lost her mind in the Hollywood madness.”
Cyrus’s worst critic didn’t mince any words — taking down not only Miley Cyrus, but the whole Cyrus clan. “She’s not one of my favorites. I just don’t like her whole family,” he said, adding, “I think she’s starving for attention. She’s missing something somewhere.”
Cyrus did have one fan who was more than happy to hear that she’d be bearing it all as the 2015 MTV VMA host. “I would love to see that,” he said.
The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards will air on MTV Sunday, Aug. 30.
