Miley Cyrus Kisses Katy Perry At L.A. 'Bangerz' Show

Miley Cyrus gave fans an extra treat when her Bangerz Tour hit Los Angeles by locking lips with friend and fellow popstar Katy Perry mid-performance.

Cyrus, who is currently busy touring, was performing at the Staples Center on Saturday, Feb. 22, when she kissed Perry in front of a huge audience. At the concert, a kiss camera appears during the performance of Cyrus’ love song “Adore You,” and in video of the entire performance she even encourages couples who appear on the screen to kiss, taking a break from singing to comment on what appears on the kiss cam. Towards the end of the song, Cyrus approached the edge of the stage where Perry was watching from the front row and beckoned her forward, puckering up her lips. Perry was game and gave Cyrus a nice peck on the lips.

After the smooch, Cyrus gave a big smile and gracefully sat back up on stage, saying, “I just kissed a girl. And I really liked it a lot.” The statement, of course, is a reference to Perry’s breakout hit, “I Kissed A Girl.” Later Perry tweeted about the scandalous moment, including a photo of Cyrus’ reaction and writing, “I adore you!”
