Miley Cyrus has split from Liam Hemsworth, her fiancé of less than a year, according to Page Six. Hemsworth has since returned to his native Australia and moved into a new home.
The split, reported on Wednesday, is the latest in a long line of breakups between the young engaged couple. “They have broken up before, and are broken up again now. There was drama because she suspected he had a wandering eye. And she recently tweeted a denial that he cheated,” an insider told Page Six. “While Miley has insisted they are still together, right now they are very, very much apart.”
“Miley and Liam are done; it’s over,” another source said. “She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him.”
Hemsworth has been spotted in Australia with his brother, actor Chris Hemsworth, sister-in-law Elsa Pataky and niece India Rose. His parents purchased him new digs in the country last year for $1.6 million, reported E! News. The three-bedroom two-bath home sits on 6.2 acres of ocean-view property surrounded by sand dunes.
Meanwhile, Miley has been hard at work on her fourth studio album, collaborating with Dr. Luke and Pharrell Williams. When she was photographed outside the LA recording studio, she wasn't wearing the 3.5-carat diamond ring that Hemworth gave her last May when he proposed.
