Mick Jagger, 81, Poses In Rare Photo With His Son On His 8th Birthday

Melanie Hamrick, the girlfriend of rock legend and icon Mick Jagger, recently shared a picture of Jagger’s son Deveraux Jagger and him for the child’s 8th birthday. 

The slideshow includes a caption, “There are no words for how wonderful, brilliant, beautiful, and kind Dev is!” Hamrick, 37, led the adventure with a smiling shot of herself and Deveraux standing in front of an ocean view. This was followed by multiple mother-son selfies, a photo of the birthday boy on an inflatable slide, and a picture with Jagger, 81, holding his son close in the family photo while Deveraux stuck out his tongue.

The former ballerina told the Sunday Times in September that she doesn’t think about her and her partner’s 44-year age gap.

“Everyone’s going to have their opinion,” she explained to the outlet. “If you think about others’ opinions, no matter where you are in life, you’re going to have a problem, and you’re going to analyze it.”

Last year, Jagger gifted the choreographer a diamond promise ring. “I put my blinders on,” Hamrick continued, “Am I happy? Yes. Are the people in my life happy? Yes. Am I hurting anyone? No. Okay, they can mind their own business.”

Hamrick and Jagger began dating two years ago. The rock star was previously married to actress Bianca Perez-Mora Macias from 1971 to 1978. He is the father of seven other children: Karis Jagger, 54; Jade Jagger, 53; Elizabeth Jagger, 40; James Jagger, 39; Georgia May Jagger, 32; Gabriel Jagger, 27; and Lucas Jagger, 25. Deveraux is the youngest of his children, born in December 2016. 

Additionally, Jagger has six grandchildren, with Georgia May giving birth to his youngest in September with boyfriend, Cambryan Sedlick. 

Hamrick also writes her own novels, the latest of which was released earlier this year in August. It is a ballet-based romance novel.
