Michelle Obama made her final TV appearance as first lady on Wednesday’s Tonight Show.
FLOTUS chatted with late night host Jimmy Fallon, one night following President Barack Obama‘s farewell address.
Sitting down with host Fallon, FLOTUS used the occasion to thank her mother, whom she credited for keeping the first family grounded over the last eight years by helping take care of Malia and Sasha.
“Mom doesn’t really play,” said the First Lady. “She’s not impressed with any of us.”
Michelle also read thank-you notes from people on the show. She even made a joke about being a talk show host herself in the future.
The lighthearted segment was quite a contrast to the proceedings over on Full Frontal With Samantha Bee. It discussed the allegations that Russians have been gathering compromising information about Donald Trump in order to blackmail him.
