Michelle Obama Releases Cover For Memoir ‘Becoming’ [PHOTOS]

Michelle Obama‘s upcoming memoir is to be published in November, titled Becoming. She released the image on her Instagram and Twitter accounts.

I’m thrilled to share with all of you the cover for BECOMING. The process of writing this book has been so personally meaningful and illuminating for me. As I prepare to share BECOMING this fall, I hope you’ll also think about your own story, and trust that it will help you become whoever you aspire to be. Your story is what you have, what you will always have. It is something to own. #BECOMING

Before this reveal, Obama shared some other personal photos of her and her family, giving advice to the Class of 2018 and disclosing some experiences in her life that have led her to where she is today. And that, is the point of Becoming.

In the post and tweet above, Obama also invites others to reflect on their own life experiences, as it is something of their own to be used in pursuit of becoming the individual they want to be.

Obama’s publisher said the memoir will cover “from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work, to her time spent at the world’s most famous address.”
