Michelle McNamara, Writer And Wife of Patton Oswalt, Dies At 46
Michelle McNamara, writer and wife of Patton Oswalt, died unexpectedly in her sleep on Thursday in her home in Los Angeles.

McNamara was a writer and a blogger with a popular blog that focused on cold cases called “True Crime Diary.” She received her graduate degree from University of Minnesota.
“It’s the ones that really don’t get that much attention that interest me because I think what’s interesting about them is there’s more stuff to be unearthed that hasn’t been in the public yet and you can do it,” she said in an interview about her blog.
Her husband is most known for his roles in “Veep,” ”Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “The King of Queens” and films including “Magnolia,” ”Starsky & Hutch” and “Ratatouille.”

The writer married Oswalt in 2005 and they share a 7-year-old daughter, Alice.
Celebrities and fans took to social media to send their condolences to the actor.
