Michelle & Barack Obama Share Wholesome Thanksgiving Family Photos

This Thanksgiving we may not have had the pleasure of laughing at more turkey puns cleverly made by Barack Obama, but we have had the pleasure of looking at some wholesome photos of the Obama family. On November 27, Michelle Obama tweeted out a special photo of her family all dressed up, embracing one another in front of a shrubbery backdrop. While Michelle and Sasha, 18, went for the black dress look, Malia, 21, and her dad went for more casual pastel-colored looks.

On November 28 Barack also took to Twitter to share what his plans were for the holidays. On Thanksgiving, he continued his tradition of giving back and in the tweeted photo, can be seen shaking hands with a little girl while volunteering and helping those in need.

Last year the 44th president and former Chicago resident surprised volunteers at a food bank in Chicago and helped bag potatoes for families in need of Thanksgiving meals.

Barack had brought his team from the Obama Foundation. which has a mission to provide education to communities across the United States and help improve those communities through leadership and other opportunities.
